Who is the course for?
This course will benefit all employees, particularly those that are designated as a Fire Marshal. They will be more aware of their own safety, and their
duties within the regulatory reform (Fire Safety) order 2005.
How long does the course last?
4 hours- for the Fire Marshal course
5 hours- for the inclusion of the Practical use of Extinguishers, Fire Blanket and Live Hot Fire Training
How is the course assessed?
A multiple choice assessment paper will be given at the end of the session. Successful candidates gaining 15 correct answers out of 20 will be
awarded a Fire Marshal certificate.
The assessment can take place orally for those who have difficulties reading or writing.
