Who is the course for?
This qualification will enable managers and supervisors to improve the health and safety culture of their organisation, whatever its size or activity.
The Level 2 Award in Health and Safety is a recommended prerequisite.
How long does the course last?
Three days.
How is the course assessed?
A multiple choice assessment paper will be given at the end of the third day. Successful candidates will be awarded a Level 3 Award in Health
and Safety in the workplace from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
The assessment can take place orally for those who have difficulties reading or writing. Many foreign languages can be catered for.
CIEH now require that all people taking the exam need to provide the original photo ID. (e.g. passport, driving licence, work pass).
