knowledge and skills. This qualification ensures that supervisors and managers have the necessary depth of understanding to enable them to carry out
risk assessments.
This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and accepted by major inspecting bodies such as HSE, CIEH and
CQC.

Who is the course for?
Supervisors, Managers and staff responsible for carrying out the risk assessments within the company.
A 3-hour Risk Assessment – Basic Certificate course is also available.
A Risk Assessment – Level 2 course accredited by the CIEH is also available.

How long does the course last?
20 hours - 7 hours taught course, plus a further 13 hours for the completion of the assignment
How is the course assessed?
Each participant will need to successfully complete an Assignment and Self- evaluation to gain a ‘CIEH Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment Principles
and Practice’ certificate.
CIEH now require that all people taking the exam need to provide the original photo ID. (e.g. passport, driving licence, work pass).
